Princess & the Pea

Nana Rose came to Modesto to spend the weekend with the family. We enjoyed having her all to ourselves. Jim and I had a great date night at Surlas on Saturday night while Iain and Nana had dinner at home, watched Ice Age and played with all the cool goodies Nana brought in her bottomless bag of tricks!

On Saturday we took Nana to the Gallo Center for the Arts to see the stage production of The Princess and the Pea. Iain asked the "Prince" after the show if there were dragons in his castle and the "Prince" told him there were but they kept them in the dungeon! Iain was very intrigued. It was a wonderful weekend! Thank you Nana! Happy 70th Birthday! Come visit again soon!

Muckdog Dugout

Iain may not LOVE baseball, but he certainly has fun with his new friends in the dugout! He also loves getting a cold lemonade after EVERY game! He was name MVP and received the GAME BALL at the May 7th game against the Grasshoppers for being an outstanding player! Way to go Iain! We are so proud of you!

Goofing off in the dugout with his Muckdog pals!

Iain earned the GAME BALL after proving he could be a team player! Way to go Iain!

Mother's Day Tea

Parkwood Christian Preschool hosted their annual Mother's Day Tea Party and it was super sweet. Iain was so happy that I snuck away from school to be there. He served me my lunch and beverage and made me a cute hand print and he was so proud to have me there! He is the best Mother's Day gift a girl can ask for.

The children sang songs for all the moms before the tea party began. Iain is a very enthusiastic singer and dancer.

Baseball Season

Iain is playing T-ball for the Muckdogs and Jim is the coach of the 4/5 team. They are having fun but Iain loves soccer and prefers it over baseball. He reminds us of it every baseball practice and game. Baseball isn't as fun he says and he likes running and scoring goals. There's too much standing around and waiting according to Iain.
